Training Policy
On-Site Health & Safety Training
A standard Checklist is used providing safety induction information for a site. This will contain information on site layout, first aid /accident reporting, welfare arrangements, etc. Regular toolbox talks are carried out on site. All site-based employees also undertake a CSCS health and safety awareness course and there are Health & Safety manuals which are constantly updated. We develop a Construction-phased health and safety Plan which is viewed and understood by all site operatives whilst undergoing site inductions, hence being site specific.
Induction Training
All employees are given an induction before they start employment and are also given a Health and Safety Induction before they attend work on site. All training is appraised annually at appraisal and they attend periodic training and seminars if this has been identified.
All Sub-Contractors also have a health and safety induction before they commence on site and are asked to read our health and safety policy and confirm in writing that they have understood it. They also must produce their own Health and Safety Policy, Method, Risk and COSHH Assessments.
