Jones building contractors secures 10 year maintenance
In February 2010, Jones Building Contractors secured a 10-year, Planned Maintenance Contract for kitchens and bathrooms to include decoration works, worth around £25 million contract with Yarlington Housing Group.
23 other companies applied for this contract and Jones were the successful contenders. Yarlington asked us - the local building company - to carry out work to their stock of over 8,500 properties around the South West.
The current teams consists of Mark Porter - Operations Director, Keith Stone - Technical Services Manager, Steve Hay - Contracts Manager, Chris Snell - Contracts Supervisor, Chris Johnson, Chris Glover, Darren Smith, Marlie Packer, Martin Fildes, Sam Balian, Daniel Stent and all the administration will be dealt with by Emily Burton.
This contract has allowed Jones Building Contractors to employee a further 2 Carpentry Apprentices and an Apprentice Receptionist to assist with this contract.
We are currently in the process of recruiting Kitchen and Bathroom Fitters to help with the expected workload.
