Exeter & Plymouth Property Services headed up by Director Chris Austin, who has secured new clients Tavistock College & Steve Eastland Designs Devon County Council & has increased turnover to £5.5 million.

The Exeter / Plymouth regional office has managed to secure the following contracts:

Sovereign Housing – further year contract on day to day response and void works - value of 600k
New client for Plymouth Hannon & Young – carry out small repairs and decoration works to Plymouth City underpass – value 21k
ECC awarded a 5 year contract for the assisted decorating scheme – value 260k per year
Roofing Contracts with Riviera East Devon & Exeter City Council – approx value 1.69m
Kitchen refurb contract with EDDC – value 317k with possible additional works
New client Kendall King Scott, assisted homes for mental health – value 41k
Contract with Riviera for void properties worth 550k.

Sovereign Housing is dealt with from this office, covering the entire South West region. We are negotiating a £850K estate refurbishment with Sovereign for Kelly Close & Savage Rd in Plymouth, scheduled to commence in October 2008 & look to complete in March 09.

We have recently set up a Plumbing & Heating dept that are looking to carry out servicing contracts for our Clients, Sovereign have shown interest in D R Jones doing all of there properties in the south west & west region.

We are in the middle of setting up a flooring dept, this will enable D R Jones to be more efficient with this side of our works & hopefully be able to tender on the Major Construction side of the company. At present we are awaiting approval from Altro floor coverings.

We have recently found new premises which are yet to be built with anticipated completion by April 09.

We have been offered to price planned works for Co-operative society (South West) this will cover Plymouth & Torbay area, approx £100K

Exeter/Plymouth offices have recently secured new clients –

Tavistock College - Refurbishment of Science labs.

Steve Eastland Designs Devon County Council - repairs to classrooms and an aluminium window contract.

Carillion PLC – Internal redecorations of Schools

In addition we have secured the following

ECC - 5 year insulation render contract.

ECC - Insulation render contract to BISF Properties.

ECC - Roofing Contract/Repairs

EDDC – Roofing, kitchen & bathroom refurbishment contract, repairs & decorations

We are now 'Permarock' Specialist approved contractors, which is an insulation render system

Since moving to our new premises in Exeter we have increased our turn over from 4.2 Million up to 5.5 Million.

Properties had all the steel works repaired. Then 60mm insulation, followed by and render then dash coat on the 1st floor. Ground floor had a render then a brick effect render
