Eurobrick System
Eurobrick Systems are the original and best for brick slips and stone faced cladding providing a fast, cost effective way to get the real look, feel and durability of brick and stone walling. Eurobrick cladding has the added benefit of thermal insulation, and also helps to save energy, providing a greener alternative to traditional brick and stonework.
Although traditional bricks look great and feel great, when they are used as a veneer to provide a weatherproof skin for the outer wall of a building, they offer no real structural stability. They are also heavy, expensive and impractical for use in modern construction methods. However, Eurobrick Systems are lightweight and very easy to install, saving you both time and money.
Due to the Eurobrick System's versatility it can be used almost anywhere. All of the Eurobrick Systems are suitable for larger developments or smaller domestic projects and are easily installed by a member of our fully trained team.
The installation itself is a very simple process:
- The insulated backer panel is supplied pre-laminated with a vacuum formed waterproof styrene skin moulded to form a template of horizontal tracks which locate the brick or stone slips.
- This composite laminated panel is fixed to the wall or frame using panel fasteners specially designed to suit different substrates.
- A permanent bonding, weather-proof construction adhesive is applied to each course.
- Brick or stone slips, corners or specially made angles are then inserted between the tracks.
- To complete the installation, a specially formulated pointing mortar is piped into the joints and tooled as with traditional brickwork.
