Painting & Decorating
Our Painting & Decorating division has a dedicated team of over 50 qualified painters and decorators to include a skilled team of carpenters who work closely with other teams carrying out a variety of works for Housing Associations, Local Authorities and the private sector.
We are a member of the Dulux Trade Contract Partnership Scheme. This scheme was launched to proactively embrace the Egan principles of partnering and to help drive quality standards forward in the painting and decorating industry. It is the first scheme of its kind to formally recommend and approve non-domestic painting contractors. It aims to bring professionals together with the shared interest of raising quality standards into a 3-way partnership.
Through our wide-ranging partnering experience, Dulux Trade is able to offer a 'total solution' approach. This means that we not only provide the best range of market-leading products, we also promote collaborative relationships, improve management controls and provide better service to end customers.
This established team is headed up by Nigel Gillett who oversees and manages the cyclical painting and decorating throughout the company.

In 2007 we received a 'Very Highly Commended' award from the Painting and Decorating Association for painting works completed on this care home. We were up against tough competition with a total of 37 commercial entrants vying for recognition of their craftsmanship.
