Yeovil & Bristol Property Services are dealt with from Yeovil HO with numerous contracts up to the value of £800,000, Jones's have recently secured additional contracts with Hastoe & Sanctuary Housing & a partnership with NHBC running into 2010

This team also carries out major refurbishments programmes which can include interior and exterior decorating, exterior cladding, roofing repairs and replacements. In addition to refurbishments this team carry out cyclical programmes of exterior and interior maintenance. This can include installing new windows, new kitchens, new bathrooms, rewiring, insulation, roofing repairs etc.  This service is mainly undertaken for housing associations and local authorities.

A 24 hour responsive repair service is also offered for emergency call outs.

Jones is a member of the Dulux Trade Contract Partnership Scheme. This scheme was launched to proactively embrace the Egan principles of partnering and to help drive quality standards in the painting and decorating industry forward. It is the first scheme of its kind to formally recommend and approve non-domestic painting contractors. It aims to bring professionals together with the shared interest of raising quality standards into a 3-way partnership.

General refurbishments including replacement kitchens and bathrooms, glazing and roofing works and general repairs to Care Homes throughout the South West.

Currently carrying out quoted works for Honeywell Aerospace in Yeovil, including office refurbishments, internal decoration and general repairs.

Hastoe Housing Association
Currently commenced a new 4-year partnership contract with Hastoe Housing Association, which includes day-to-day responsive works, planned and cyclical programmes. Contract total of approximately £1m.

In March 2008 we completed a contract at the Bishops Palace in Wells, carrying out renovation to the North Wing of the Palace. Contract value approximately £100k.

The works involved the conversion of 2no Grade I listed buildings forming the North West Wing of the Bishops Palace.  Both building known as the ‘Brew house’ and ‘laundry drying room’ were converted into a new office facility and meeting room for the Bishops Palace administrative and resource base for both the Bishop of Bath and Wells and the Bishop of Taunton.

The applications of lime hair plaster were adapted to meet listed buildings requirements with the existing building fabrics.  Other materials used were lime putty and lime mortar for masonry stonework to remain in keeping with the buildings.
